"Never Give Up" Scholarship Fund

The "Never Give Up" Scholarship Fund is an endowment fund, established in memory of Robert Price, a friend to our school.  The proceeds from this fund will provide scholarships for middle school students with a heart for service.

 

Despite living with a disability, Robert rose above obstacles to become a loyal friend, a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a motivation to all whom he encountered.  Robert was proud to be Catholic, and could frequently be seen walking in the community, praying the Rosary.  He was a faithful attendee of the school Mass; at the conclusion of Mass, Robert would encourage each of our students to "Never give up."  

 

The "Never Give Up" Scholarship reminds us of Robert's persistent and energetic message of hope, which he shared with those who crossed his path.  Through this scholarship, we hope that Robert's spirit of good will, resilience, and compassion will live on in our student scholars.  Robert taught us that big actions are not required to make a lasting difference in a community; you just need a big heart!
