Grace Scholars
GRACE Scholars, Inc., is an initiative of Archbishop Gregory that helps families in need of financial assistance send their children to Catholic schools AND provide an incredible tax benefit to those who support GRACE.
Contributing to GRACE provides a 100% tax credit against state income taxes, so that for every dollar you give to GRACE, you get it right back in the form of a tax credit. The tax credit has one important feature that you need to know about. Georgia limits the number of tax credits available each year and we are likely to reach the limit quickly!
To reserve your tax credit, you can apply online through GRACE Scholars, Inc. The application is simple and once you receive approval, you can then designate the school that will benefit from your contribution. We ask our school and parish community to consider designating contributions to St. Joseph Catholic School - Marietta.
Not convinced? All taxpayers pay the same amount of taxes whether you support GRACE or not. You can send it all to the state of Georgia and have no say in how it is spent. Or you can designate some of your tax dollars to support an important mission of the church and help a deserving child in need.
