The school dress code at St. Joseph Catholic School helps to reinforce our sense of community and togetherness also representing our Catholic faith. Education experts agree, uniforms not only help students to dress smartly and take pride in their appearance, but also improve learning by reducing distraction, sharpening focus on schoolwork and making the classroom a more serious environment, allowing students to perform better academically. Perhaps most importantly, a uniform means students (and parents) need not worry about peer pressure when it comes to their clothes. When everyone is dressed the same, worrying about what you look like isn't so important. There is no competition about being dressed in the latest trend, which would put a great deal of financial pressure on students and parents.
All students must wear skorts, jumpers, skirts, ties, shorts, shirts, sweaters, slacks, and PE clothing and must be purchased through our provider, Uniform Source. There are several options available for students for Summer/Spring, Fall/Winter, Mass and PE - all according to grade level.

Students should keep a neat and tidy appearance at all times, and it is the responsibility of the family to take note of any items that might need to be replaced throughout the school year.
