Similar to a PTA, the Home and School Association is an extremely active and essential part of the school community. Committees from the Home and School Association participate in every phase of life at St. Joseph Catholic School. Family involvement is an essential part of the school community, as it creates a sense of ownership in the school. But just as importantly, parents form friendships with one another while volunteering at the school.
On any given day throughout the school year you will see parents graciously giving their time and expertise to the school. From serving lunch in the cafeteria, to shelving books in the library, to landscaping the school, parents generously give over 7,000 hours a year to help the children at the school. Whether you work full-time or you stay at home, the Home and School Association has something that can fit into your schedule. If you want to meet people and get involved, the Home and School Association has a place for you. Please visit the Committees page to learn more about the Home and School Committees.
All volunteers must complete the Archdiocesan Volunteer Application, and be approved as a volunteer for the Archdiocese.
