HOME & SCHOOL COMMITTEES
Accelerated Reader - Volunteers will organize, assemble, and assist with the quarterly Accelerated reader program awards which are given to students during the lunch period.
Adult Social - Volunteers are needed to help plan two (2) nighttime events for parents where they can meet other parents from the school and have some fun!
Alumni Committee - Volunteers for this committee would plan and host the annual Alumni Breakfast.
Art Angels - Our Art Angels are needed during school hours to assist the art teacher each day. Additionally, Art Angels are needed for the set-up of the Art Show each spring.
Library Assistants - Volunteers for the library will assist with the Book Fair, assist students with Accelerated Reader tests, shelve books, assist with check-out, and read to students.
3R/Cash for Trash - Help clip, sort, and mail coupons, labels, and bottle tops to manufacturers.
Catholic Schools Week - Catholic Schools Week is usually celebrated the last week of January. Volunteers are needed for preparation work, to assist in the classrooms, to set-up for a parent breakfast, and a host of other activities during this wonderful week.
Clerical in the office - Volunteers will assist the office staff by running copies, collating office mailings, and helping out with general tasks in the office.
Development Assistants - Volunteers will assist with events sponsored by the Development Office, such as the Block Party, the Annual Fund, the Silent Auction or the Golf Tournament.
School Beautification - Volunteers help with landscaping projects around the school and painting classrooms during the summer.
Drama Assistants - Volunteers are needed to help with the drama performances twice a year.
Fun Food Lunch Program - Volunteers help serve Fun Food lunches to the students Tuesday through Thursday. Additionally, there are opportunities to assist in the general organizational running for the program.
Grandparents’ Day - Volunteers assist by setting-up tables/chairs, serving breakfast to our beloved grandparents, taking down tables/chairs, and cleaning up from the event.
Hospitality - Volunteers would assist by providing food and drinks for scheduled events at the school.
Magazines and More - Our primary fundraiser, volunteers are needed to assist with logging/counting orders, handing out prizes to the students, and delivering merchandise to the students.
Middle School Dance - Volunteers for this committee would assist with the planning and running of the four (4) middle school dances, which take place after school.
Middle School Coordinator - Assisted by the middle school Room Moms, this volunteer would help plan and execute the 8th grade Commissioning breakfast, Honors Night, and the 8th grade graduation.
Music Assistant - Volunteers are needed to help with the Christmas Program, as well as Band Concerts.
Room Parents - These volunteers assist the teacher and coordinate parent volunteers for the classroom.
School Store - Volunteers for the School store will run a virtual school store. Volunteers are responsible for the ordering, marketing and selling of Spirit Wear at the school store.
School Sign Assistant - This volunteer will update the outdoor school signs on a weekly basis.
Secret Santa - These volunteers are responsible for setting-up the Secret Santa Shop, selling the merchandise, assisting students with their purchase(s) and clean-up of the Secret Santa Shop.
Skating Party - This volunteer will arrange skating parties, collect tickets at the door, purchase door prizes….
Spiritual Life - Volunteers will help with religious events during the school year, such as: the middle school retreats, Lenten service projects, St. Nicholas Day, Advent activities….
Spring into Summer Fest - Volunteers plan and execute a year-end field day for students in kindergarten through 7th grade.
Supplies for the classroom - Volunteers assist with the procurement and distribution of common supplies to the classrooms. Deliveries to the classrooms typically take place during the weekly school Mass.
Teacher Appreciation - Volunteer assist with preparing monthly lunch treats for the faculty/staff, and assist in organizing teacher Appreciation Week.
Used Uniform Sale - Volunteers coordinate the used uniforms at the sale. The school hosts two (2) used Uniform Sales per year.
Welcome Committee - These volunteers help welcome new families into the school, and set-up a “host family” for all new families.
Please remember, in order to volunteer in the school, you must have completed the Archdiocesan Volunteer Application.
