As part of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, St. Joseph Catholic School is a parish school. Through the Archdiocesan district-wide accreditation, St. Joseph Catholic School has been accredited through AdvancED. This district-wide accreditation has a dual purpose: to ensure that our school continues to provide a strong religious foundation for our students, while at the same time, offering an excellent academic education. Our top-notch academic program is evident through our distinction as a 2003 No Child Left Behind National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, which was conferred upon the school from the United States Department of Education.
Twice Recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence!
The Secretary of Education, John B. King, Jr. recognized St. Joseph Catholic School as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence for 2016. This is the second time that the school has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The school was recognized as an “Exemplary High Performing School”, which means that our students scored within the top 15% of all schools within the nation in English and/or math. We are a school of EXCELLENCE! Read more about our award HERE.
