Extended Care Schedule

QUIET TIME
A quiet time is mandatory in the daily schedule of our program. Students are expected to work on homework or read a book if they have no homework. Children with homework may use this time to begin working on assignments. Please check your child’s homework each evening, as they may not have time to complete assignments. Staff members will assist when needed but should not be considered as tutors. It is our hope that this required quiet time will allow families to have greater “quality time” at home late in the evening.

SCHEDULE
3:15 - 3:45 p.m. Check in
3:45 - 4:30 p.m. Study hall/homework for grades 3-8;
Outside or gym play for grades K-2
4:30 - 5:00 p.m. Quiet time or homework for grades K-2;
Outside or gym play for grades 3-8
5:00 p.m. Snack
5:00 - 6:15 p.m. Homework, movies, and quiet play

NUTRITIOUS SNACKS
One nutritious snack is provided daily at 5:00 pm. If your child is staying late, you may want to provide another snack for him/her.

Tuesday—Bananas and breadsticks
Wednesday—Cheese and crackers
Thursday– Oranges and popcorn
Friday- Grapes and pretzels
