Pathways

The Pathway program is offered to our middle school students and allows the students the choice of various elective classes. The goals of the program are to: develop social responsibility in our students, promote academic success, and provide an opportunity for our students to explore and reinforce their strengths, talents, and interests. Ultimately, these goals assist us in achieving our school’s mission toward creating a quality education which fosters the current and future development of the whole child.

Courses for our Pathway program vary on a quarterly basis. Students are required to choose two Pathway courses each quarter to complete their middle school schedule. Some of the courses that have been offered to our students through our Pathway program are: Study Skills, Debate, Cartooning, Russian Language and Culture, Home Economics, Improvisation, Guitar, Botany, and Novel Discussions. While some classes are purely exploratory in nature, many of these classes further enhance the curriculum by supporting our strong academic program.

“If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths,
rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success.”
